There are to be no cats on this page! =P ~xenc. 14:43, 5 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Usage[edit]

{{subst:Badcat|cat=Plants|article=Sponge}}--~~~~ OR {{subst:Badcat|article=Sponge|cat=Plants}}--~~~~

Before adding controversial categories, such as Plants, to articles, such as Sponge, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category. The addition of a category to an article is considered a claim that the subject of the article is what the name of the category would suggest, and the article needs to contain information that backs your claim up, otherwise it will most likely be removed by another user. --E-Bod 22:07, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should change {{{cat}}} and {{{Sponge}}} to {{{1}}} and {{{2}}} So that there are less things to write. The disadvantage would be the word does matter but it would mean less things to Write--E-Bod 22:07, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If I understand correctly, I think the way it works now is a little more efficient in that it guards somewhat against typing errors. ~xenc. 14:43, 5 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
