Usage[edit]

This template should only be used to tag database entries that are not 'legitimate' names.

For example the following redirects

Ebony.(Serial). → Ebony (magazine) (from the OCLC database)
Cerebral Cortex (New York, N.Y.: 1991) → Cerebral Cortex (journal) (from the PubMed database)

Social Science & Medicine (1982) → Social Science & Medicine (from the JSTOR database)

Legitimate alternate names, like

The Journal of the American Society of Nephrology → Journal of the American Society of Nephrology

should instead by tagged with {{R from alternative name}}
