  • I know Wikipedia's not censored, but putting breasts on the front page when an image of the artist is free is a little too much like begging for trouble. Article looks solid otherwise (new enough, long enough, etc.), but the image needs discussion. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 13:10, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
  • Really, not even in art? The image in question was published in the respected journal China Heritage Quarterly. As for the image of the artist, it's free in China, but I'm not sure about its US status because of the uncertain year. Anyways, I've added an alternative image and the promoter can decide which one to use. -Zanhe (talk) 20:12, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
  • Nudity on the main page is... generally something which draws a lot of criticism. I wouldn't put Dream of the Fisherman's Wife (a notable woodcut) on POTD, for instance, as that would cause more trouble than it's worth. File:Genthe nude edit.jpg ran, but it still got some criticism, and that is not sexualized nudity at all. This second image is much better, however. From a less "avoid stepping on toes" POV, it is simple and thus shows up really well at 100px. This article is ready for DYK, with Mr. Wang joins the army as the illustration if this goes with a picture. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 22:32, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
