Wildlife of Rwanda[edit]

A young gorilla grabs tourist at Volcanoes National Park

5x expanded by Nvvchar (talk), Rosiestep (talk), Dr. Blofeld (talk). Nominated by Nvvchar (talk) at 06:07, 24 April 2013 (UTC).

  • "Volcanoes" to "Volcanoes National Park" — much clearer. The url for the hook citation is self-referential, where is the location of the actual source? MasterOfHisOwnDomain (talk) 13:43, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
  • Thanks. I have now modified the hook text slightly. I am not clear about the second part of your observations as the book reference is under Bibliography linked with sfn format. Kindly clarify.--Nvvchar. 02:02, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
  • Well "Booth 2006" would refer me to the work by Janice Booth. What does "RDB (II) 2010" refer me to? There isn't a clear referent in the Bibiliography. MasterOfHisOwnDomain (talk) 08:38, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
  • I can accept it on good faith if it's in a physical source, but my problem is simply that the citation isn't linked to any Bibliography entry that I can see (unless I'm entirely missing it). MasterOfHisOwnDomain (talk) 11:45, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
  • Sorry for the mix up of references. I have removed the sfn format and fixed the original reference itself as I had missed posting it under Bibliography. I have supplemented with one more reference to the Volcanoes National Park. I hope you will find both in order now. Thanks.--Nvvchar. 15:02, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
No problem, thanks for resolving the issue. Hook cited, five times expansion, article of good quality. Good to go. MasterOfHisOwnDomain (talk) 15:24, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
  • The hook may be cited, but it doesn't make logical sense as a sentence. Please suggest an ALT hook that does. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:24, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
  • If you mean having "in the Wildlife of Rwanda", I believe I've seen other hooks go away with that same wording (i.e., for a series of "Wildlife in …" articles). Perhaps then: ALT 1 "… the wildlife of Rwanda contains an estimated one third of the worldwide population of the mountain gorilla? MasterOfHisOwnDomain (talk) 09:25, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
  • OK the ALT 1 hook is fine.--Nvvchar. 23:26, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
  • Thanks.--Nvvchar. 11:33, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
