  • New enough five-fold expansion, hook checks out and is reasonably interesting, and no obvious plagiarism. Since I'm not really familiar with the site to which the hook is cited, I'm going to assume good faith and say it is considered reliable for pro wrestling articles. The prose is pretty good; it could still use a bit of polish in my opinion, but I'm going to leave that as an issue for the ongoing featured list review.
The image is where I have a little bit of an issue. I can't really verify much about the copyright status of the image, since part of the information about it is in Japanese. I'd be willing to overlook that if there were no other issues, but although the wrestler pictured did hold the title at one time, it was more than a decade prior to this picture being taken, so it is only tangentially related to the article subject. Beyond that, the review criteria say that the image should be displayed at 100 x 100 pixels; the aspect ratio of this image doesn't seem to lend itself to such a display. Finally, the inclusion of this image requires a rather long parenthetical to explain it, which breaks up the hook too much, in my opinion. I strongly advise you to just drop the image. That might allow you to include more useful information in the hook. I would suggest "that the WCW Light Heavyweight Championship was "ignored" by promoter Bill Watts after it was vacated in 1992, before being replaced by the WCW Cruiserweight Championship in 1996?" That's fair enough; I've proposed an image-free alt above. GRAPPLE X 09:05, 9 March 2016 (UTC)
ALT1 is all good. Thanks. Acdixon (talk · contribs) 13:05, 9 March 2016 (UTC)
