Unbibium[edit]

Improved to Good Article status by ComplexRational (talk). Self-nominated at 02:22, 15 November 2018 (UTC).

  • Support; the article has recently been approved for GA, clearly longer than 1500 characters, follows all of the policy guidelines, the hook is within the required length, and the content seems fairly interesting and could appeal to a wide range of viewers. All I can say about this is that the second half of the DYK hook could MAYBE use a re-wording, but I wouldn't be bothered if this never happened. I personally would rather it read "...claimed that unbibium could be found naturally in thorium deposits." I feel like using the wordage of "could be found" rather than "occurs" make the hook seem more relatable to viewers, I don't know. When I think "occur", I think of "occur in trace amounts", which is not what we are going for. We want to make the hook seem as interesting and fun-facty as possible. Something about the word "occur" seems off to me. Don't get me wrong, saying "occur" historically aligns with what Marinov found, but... I don't know. It's a tiny nitpick, and I would be perfectly content if you leave it as it is. It's a strong support from me either way. UtopianPoyzin (talk) 03:56, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
