Sam Fullbrook[edit]

  • ... that Australian Sam Fullbrook was known as the "last of the bushman painters" (rural artists), yet his works were sophisticated, widely shown and collected internationally?

  • The length checks out, 5x expansion as of 1 May; and the fact presented is cited in the article. However... I have (and presumably your average reader has) no idea what a "bushman painter" is... can we somehow explain that in the hook if we're going to use that phrase? • Thank you. In Australia, "bushman artist" or "bush artist" is someone who paints outback (beyond rural) scenes in a sometimes naive, usually self-taught manner - I hope the extra helps explain.Manytexts (talk) 23:43, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
Ah, okay. Yeah, that clarification helps a lot. :) I'm happy with the hook now.
