  • Article is new enough, long enough and reads well, sourcing looks okay & no copyvio issues I can see. QPQ is done. Hook is cited (I've explicitly cited the relevant sentence per DYK rules). Only query; can we run an animated image on the main page? --Errant (chat!) 13:34, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
  • GTG without the image (not very clear at 100px, sadly). Struck original and created ALT1 (identical content, no image) for clarity. -Errant (chat!) 14:07, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
  • Errant, the image template for the main page was recently changed, and the width parameter currently in use (which someone has set on the /Clear page that is used for the blank prep page before it's filled) is 120x133. (The default for the template is 120x120px.) I've just plugged it in here so you could take a look at the image size as it would display, in case you thought it might work when a bit larger. I'm not sure why the animation (which is allowed) is displaying at the right edge as compared to the flush-left caption; the former doesn't seem to be adjustable, but the "|caption align=" parameter could be added to force the caption to be either "right" flush or in the "center" (flush left is the default).   • (Not really relevant here, but just mentioning that the default for {{main page image}} is not 120x120. The default width is 120, but the height is unlimited, so a tall, skinny image would default to 120xMuchMoreThan120.) MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 09:53, 27 October 2015 (UTC)

  • FWIW, I think the animation works at the size currently displayed (120x133). I would think calling it an animation would be more accurate than a schematic which implies a static image, however. I also believe there should be a comma after 1911 in the hook. —GrammarFascist contribstalk 17:53, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
comma added - no I'm happy to take it at the size - assuming it gets the picture hook. It looks good to me. Can the picture approval be made clear after this debate? Victuallers (talk) 18:02, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
Awesome, I agree it works fine at the current size. I checked the guides and it said 100x100px (I should have checked the queues, my bad!) and at that it's just too small. Looks like we have a big green tick () for it with the picture (un-struck the first hook). Bluemoonset: I added the caption tweak you suggested which does as you've suggested and I feel looks nicer. --Errant (chat!) 18:12, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
