My Song Is Love Unknown[edit]

Crucifixion of Jesus
Crucifixion of Jesus
  • ... that the Good Friday hymn "My Song Is Love Unknown" ironically asks what Jesus had done to deserve crucifixion (pictured)? Source: UMC
  • Reviewed: Psalm 70
  • Comment: For 19 April (Good Friday)

5x expanded by The C of E (talk). Self-nominated at 09:14, 4 April 2019 (UTC).

  • Comment: why would you illustrate a 17th-century hymn with a 19th-century image? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:54, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
  • Article cited, well-written, interesting, no clear copyvio; Hook interesting (though there are other interesting facts in the article, like writing it over lunch on a 'dare'!). Problem is that whilst technically 5x expanded, a lot of this seems to be a transcription of the entire lyrics, which I'm not sure counts. Kingsif (talk) 15:56, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
@The C of E: Actually, my mistake - I was looking through the edits backwards - the 5x expansion is almost everything except the lyrics. Nom approved Kingsif (talk) 16:00, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
