Source: "Nascida no dia 11 de fevereiro de 1852, em Souverain-Wandre, perto de Liége, na Bélgica, Maria Renotte (também escrito como Rennotte) concluiu o magistério com os diplomas..." ["Born on February 11, 1852, in Souverain-Wandre, near Liége, Belgium, Maria Renotte (also written as Rennotte) completed her teaching diplomas...".] AND (p. 709) "...meados daquele mesmo ano, é admitida na recém-instituída Sociedade de Medicina e Cirurgia de São Paulo..." ["mid-year, she is admitted to the newly established Society of Medicine and Surgery of São Paulo".] AND "Anos mais tarde, estruturou ainda o Hospital de Crianças, primeiro do gênero no País" ["Years later, she also organized the Children's Hospital, the first of its kind in the country".]

Interesting life, Good article on fine sources, French and subscription accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. The image is licensed and illustrates person and period well. I think the original hook is more precisely about her. I hope this will make it in March! A good candidate for 8 March, international as she is. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:18, 29 February 2020 (UTC)
