  • Date and size ok. The main part of the hook ("She was one of the first women to earn a Ph.D. from the University of Havana") is cited in the article and verified in online reference. That she was an "educator and attorney" is also taken from the article, but not cited. Can this either be cited or removed from the hook? Spot check for close paraphrasing and copyvio check did not reveal any problems. Oceanh (talk) 22:42, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
Lead sentences need not to be cited in cases like this. Removed educator as it wasn't her main thing. ☯ Bonkers The Clown \(^_^)/ Nonsensical Babble ☯ 08:27, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
  • Hmmm... I might not understand the meaning of the word "attorney", and therefore hand this over to another reviewer. I took it to mean attorney-at-law, or lawyer, but cannot see mentioned in the article that she practiced as a lawyer (nor in those references I was able to consult). Oceanh (talk) 13:10, 26 May 2013 (UTC)
I guess it means Attorney general. ☯ Bonkers The Clown \(^_^)/ Nonsensical Babble ☯ 13:12, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for clarification. I would still like a second reviewer to weight in (as I am not a native English speaker). Oceanh (talk) 22:44, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
  • This article is new enough and long enough and the hook is appropriately sourced. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:38, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
