  • I don't understand the hook (I think some edit mangled the syntax) and the source is not cited. From reading the article, I think the hook means:

ALT1: ... that the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis for St Paul's Cathedral had to be written with slower, "more spacious" changes in harmony and tonality to accommodate the long reverberation time (cathedral choir pictured)?

If the (beautiful) image is captioned I don't think the hook needs to identify it. HLHJ (talk) 03:47, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
I miss the composer, - the article was written to honour his birthday! Magnificat and Nunc dimittis (should have an article) is almost as common as Symphony ;) - I didn't know how to say that not the piece is pictured but only the last part of its title, and don't think the picture-clause should be at the end. Also, I find "more spacious ways" more poetic than plain "more spacious", - a little preview of some wonderful quotations in the article (thanks to Bencherlite!) that are all too long for a hook. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:20, 5 October 2017 (UTC)

Incidentally, the quotation can be verified from this source, already in the article, where the composer's words are quoted but without attribution to the underlying source (the Argo sleeve notes that he wrote) - hence my use of a published source for the quotation. Suggest Alt 2:
ALT2: ... that in his Magnificat and Nunc dimittis for St Paul's Cathedral, Herbert Howells uses slow and spacious changes in harmony and tonality to suit the cathedral's building's long echo (interior pictured)?

Good to go with ALT 2 , with or without "cathedral" appearing twice at the discretion of the promoting editor (I favor removing it , but it is a de minimus edit either way.
