  • Age, length, neutrality, QPQ all fine; Not plagiarised, closely paraphrased or copied in any nefarious manner as far as my investigation has revealed; one source I couldn't see but no reason to suspect that is the bad apple (or mushroom in that case). Cites where cites should be; hook hooky and cited; Picture is OK but I find it a bit creepy and wonder why you didn't use the "live" picture; either picture is fine, so you can keep this one or swap it if you want to pander to me. Good to go. Belle (talk) 13:09, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
Thanks. I have swapped the image for the live one, but I thought both of them were a bit washy-washy. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 10:14, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
  • As it stands, this hook isn't that interesting if run without the photo (which is always possible). The interesting bit is that the hind legs grow so much after starting the same size. @Belle and Cwmhiraeth: How do you both feel about an alt that includes that info?
ALT1: ... that the hind legs of the greater Egyptian jerboa (pictured) are no longer than the forelegs at birth, but grow to about four times their length? ~ RobTalk 17:56, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
That's OK, but the original hooks the interest without answering the raised question; the ALT isn't very hooky in my opinion as it gives the information that the reader might otherwise want to click the link to find out. Belle (talk) 22:47, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
Personally, I wouldn't even know that I'm supposed to be asking that question based on the main hook. I'll leave it for another prep builder to decide, to allow for a third opinion. ~ RobTalk 22:50, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
