@Gerda Arendt: Mostly good; it's new enough, long enough and reliably sourced and within policy. QPQ has been done. I've made some minor changes to fix grammatical issues and added "the opening of several" to the hook to provide some necessary clarity. However, I don't see the hook fact stated explicitly in the article. It mentions the Erfurter Bahn starting to operate new lines but doesn't actually state that the new lines were announced at any point. Could this please be fixed? - Thank you, very observant, I had forgotten to state again that the announcement also referred to the opening of the lines.

Thanks, I think I like ALT2 best. I've taken the liberty of substituting "Leipzig's millennium" in place of "1000 years Leipzig" - that's how the German 1000 Jahre Leipzig would most conventionally be rendered in English, as a literal translation doesn't work. I've stricken the other hooks. The new ALT2 is cited and reliably sourced so I'm happy to sign off this nomination now. Prioryman (talk) 15:08, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
