  • ALT1: ... that contes and short stories had little distinction until the 1800s, when the genres became merged? SL93 (talk) 00:45, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
    Interesting distinction, on good sources, no copyvio obvious. I prefer the original hook, as a bit more informative about what this is. - In the article, I'd say "mostly French" from the beginning, instead of "also exist outside of France" at the very end.
