General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
Image: Image is freely licensed, used in the article, and clear at 100px.
QPQ: None required.

Overall: First of all, the photograph included in the original nomination was not used in the article itself, so I swapped it out for the Hugh Ferriss illustration that is used in the article. Also, note that QPQ does not apply, as this is the nominator's third nomination. Overall, this looks pretty good...my only concerns are the presence of "this section needs expansion" templates and the handful of raw URLs for web sources in the references, which should use the cite web template. Once these two issues are resolved, I'll be happy to pass this nomination. Nice work, David! I really enjoyed reading and reviewing this article!

Hey Michael Barera, I've expanded out the relevant sections and formatted the raw URLs. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs talk 14:03, 29 July 2019 (UTC)

  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but I wouldn't promote the image because it is fuzzy and dark at thumbnail size. Without the image, though, the first hook doesn't work, and ALT1 is not so hooky for our worldwide audience. Then I look at the article and see a huge amount written on the Art Deco styles, with a stunning lead image of the Chrysler Building. Why don't you write a catchy hook to go with that? ALT2 supported by inline citations to offline sources that I'm accepting in good faith. Good to go! Michael Barera (talk) 22:23, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
