Regarding proposed deletion[edit]

This article has recently been proposed for deletion due to the fact that the film mentioned was considered to not be notable enough for inclusion as an article. This, however, I oppose as the film was generally viral for a few days upon release and features an entire cast and crew, what with makeup artists and background extras. With further inspection, I found that there are articles for short films on Wikipedia that have even less information than Zombie in a Penguin Suit and also have had fewer viewers. Zombie in a Penguin Suit was also the subject of a review in The Huffington Post, and there are far worse articles to attack. This film is actually a bit moving in my opinion, and I believe that since other short films have pages on Wikipedia, this one deserves a place amongst them. --Matthew (talk) 20:37, 24 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is not an attack on the article, but only an observation on its merits for inclusion into Wikipedia. Wikipedia is for established items, not "Up and Coming" films. Additionally, other stuff exists. The bottom line is the film fails to meet the criteria in WP:NOTFILM. reddogsix (talk) 21:50, 24 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
By up-and-coming, do you mean that it not being considered more important as days go by? I still stand by that, despite its silly name, Zombie in a Penguin Suit needs to stand among other short films due to both its simplicity and complexity; it shows the humanity of someone who was simply working a job to support either himself or his family. However, whatever content it contains I suppose is irrelevant. Nevertheless, I would still like to include it in the many articles Wikipedia has to offer. --Matthew (talk) 22:09, 24 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
None of what you have indicated is a criteria for inclusion into Wikipedia.reddogsix (talk) 22:45, 24 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
What, then, might you consider to be criteria to allow it to be kept as an article? Specifically, what can be done to improve the article? --Matthew (talk) 20:53, 25 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
