Does it even exist?

According to many sites and maps, the district does not exist in the Kandahar province.
However, I found the tidbit of info on a blog (yeah, I know...) Blog of Robert Lindsay[2]

Jori, Zhari District, Kandahar Province: Suicide car bomb attack on an Afghan army patrol killed the bomber and wounded 6 troops. The Taliban claimed the responsibility of the attack. The Zhari District does not exist on normal maps, but it is north of the Arghandab River about 25-30 miles west of Kandahar in the Taliban-infested Panjwayi District. No called called Jori could be located on any map.

Yes, the district definitely exists. It is relatively new, so some maps may not show it. It was created by Karzai as a reward for Alizai strongman Habibullah Jan in 2004.[3] They have their own district governor (Jamal Agha as of 26 JAN 2015) and police chief (Masoom Khan, also spelled Masum Khan or Masoum Khan, as of the same date).[4]

The Institute for the Study of War has a map showing the borders of Zhari, Maiwand, Arghandab, and Panjwa'i districts.[5] Benbanner (talk) 20:38, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
