Zürcher (surname) → Zürcher – My understanding is that this term refers to someone from Zürich and therefore became a common surname. Zürcher currently redirects to Zürich. It would seem to make more sense to explain the meaning of the term on the surname page with a link to Zürich. --Relisted.
