I don't understand why the literal English translation of the company's name — Little Red Book — was linked to the Wikipedia page about the Little Red Book — specifically, "Quotations from Chairman Mao Tse-Tung." The company has nothing to do with what the English-speaking world calls the Little Red Book. The Chinese don't even call it that. Was the company given its name on purpose, as some sort of joke? Who knows? But if it was (which I highly doubt), the page should say so, and prove it. Kirchherr (talk) 18:01, 5 July 2019 (UTC)
- (4 years later) Yes, if we purport to be an encyclopedic project, this subject should be addressed in this article, and it's not, in the current version. Is "Xiaohongshu" a play on words, and is there a connection to communism? 76.190.213.189 (talk) 18:35, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
