Moving weeaboo to wapanese[edit]

Wapanese dosent redict to this but weeaboo does. Shouldnt weeaboo redict to wapanese?--GoldenEye 007 man (talk) 12:48, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Destubbification (my English teacher just had a coronary somewhere)[edit]

The page was previously a stub; I made some edits to flesh it out to a tolerable length. It still needs lots of work, and I'll get back to it later, but needless to say, additional help is more than welcome. Kickaha Ota 20:50, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Citation needed under "Cliche Control"[edit]

It says under the section noted in the subject that on 4chan, "FTW" is replaced by "SUCKS". This is followed by a citation needed tag. No citation is needed, this has been confirmed numerous times. Try it out yourself. 67.188.131.115 10:50, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've genuinely never seen a cliche control filter. A citation is needed there.

Merge discussion[edit]

Swear filter is, per Wordfilter, a particular variety of Wordfilter. Since each of those pages is currently smaller than 10kb, their content could easily be accommodated on a single page. Furthermore, since the topics are closely linked (the latter page links to the former one, but not vice-versa) I suggest that the pages should be merged in order to provide readers with a fuller understanding of the concept. • Hearing no objection, I have merged them. Cnilep (talk) 06:35, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Legal Questions[edit]

I'd like to see a paragraph that talks about any legal concerns using wordfilters. For Example: if a wordfilter removes the word not, so that a person posting "I am not a Communist", finds themselves posting "I am a Communist", would the site be open to accusations to libel content? 21:05, 19 July 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.211.128.206 (talk)

Rename[edit]

I don't know why "wordfilter" is one word, but I suggest renaming this article "word filter" or "word filtering" (the phrase currently used in the Censorship template). Thoughts or other suggestions? — Reinyday, 15:51, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
