Ticket Sales[edit]

Like the two Stourbridge stations and the three central Birmingham stations the ticket sales for Shrub Hill and Foregate Street are combined. The current view by the Worcestershire County Council Local Transport Plan 2 is that in 2002 the number of passenger buying tickets at the two stations is 1,604,737.

The County Council estimate that of this figure 1.3 million use Foregate Street and the other 300,000 use Shrub Hill. DonBarton 23:05, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The County Council have now taken the issue of the transposing of the ticket sales up with Network Rail because of its importance for local transport planning. --DonBarton 16:36, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I would naturally assume the much higher Forgate St sales to due to the fact that the trains are packed with children from the Malvern area going to the major Worcester schools and colleges that are all within a very short walk of the station; while experience may show that Shrub Hill is used extensively for changing trains. Maybe there are some recent stats to corroborate this.--Kudpung (talk) 20:44, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

South West Trains?[edit]

I remember catching a Class 158 in South West Trains livery from Shrub Hill to Foregate St in April 2014. 137.205.171.38 (talk) 16:05, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Interchange Stats[edit]

The data from the ORR data source [1] includes interchange stats for Worcester Foregate Street (as well as Shrub Hill). Should they be included? Droitwich Spa has it included. Horizon22 (talk) 12:22, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
