Urban District Council[edit]

Does membership of a UDC entitle you to entry of the Category:Local councillors in County Dublin? Is the scope of that cat not restricted to County Councils? Laurel Lodged (talk) 20:58, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The parent category is Category:Local councillors in the Republic of Ireland. The scope for that category says that the main article is Local government in the Republic of Ireland. That article has Town Councils as its lowest level. Blackrock no longer has a town council. So that suggests it is out of scope of the parent and child categories.
