"Holiday?"[edit]

I don't know about calling it a "holiday." What other word(s) could be used instead? "Day of recognition?" I dunno. —ScouterSig 02:54, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would say "event", but for purposes of stub sorting, there isn't any such template as {{event-stub}}, so... yeah--Atlantima 23:35, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Official term is "United States observance" Ahecht (talk) 19:47, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

unofficial?[edit]

This is interesting. It is indeed largely unknown by the public--i heard of t last time i atended the national federation for the blind at its conference held in Georgia this year (on July). According to them it was official; however, i haven't found a source to prove it as such, neither have I found one that tells me it is unofficial. 70.121.124.110 05:05, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
