Chart positions[edit]

I insert under on the chart positions table "International", which referred to Canada but the wrong song. There is no mention of the chart position for this song in Canada in the table (even though it states in the template it made #1) or New Zealand (where I believe it also topped the charts). Anyone have any ideas? --nirvana2013 10:22, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

song history[edit]

This article is very interesting but contains too much unsourced storytelling - Wikipedia is not a crystal ball :) Quarl (talk) 2006-07-11 12:30Z

See Also[edit]

Semi-random question - why is there a link to Christian anarchism in the "See Also" section? I'm not really seeing a connection here that justifies that link. The Dark 16:51, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Capitalising[edit]

Big "i", small "t"? What am I missing here? Is this the official spelling of the title? --Anime Addict AA (talk) 16:54, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That's not the same song. The melody isn't even remotely close. Dpodoll68 (talk) 19:57, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Justin Timberlake[edit]

Where was he credited in the US? I have never seen this song credited to The Black Eyed Peas (ft. Justin Timberlake). In fact I remember this video and every single time it came on it was just The Black Eyed Peas. If Timberlake is credited anywhere, please find a reliable source and reference it before changing it. And it was not fine the way it was (with him credited) as Wikipedia goes by official crediting, and he is not credited in any way. Rouse52794 (talk) 18:07, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

By mentioning the words "fine the way it was" I assume you're referring to the edit summary I used with this edit. If you look at the diff, you'll see that all I did was revert the poor/confusing grammar of the previous edit, and that it very clearly states that Timberlake is not credited. –BMRR (talk) 20:07, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I was refering to your edit. I wanted to put something in the edit summary but forgot and did not want to re-edit just to include it so I put it in here. My mistake and I apologize for that. But as for it being worded confusingly, I don't see how. My edit said "The song also includes Justin Timberlake, although he is not officially credited." That clearly states that he is in the the song, yet he is uncredited. And unless what I read was not your edit, yours said he was only credited in the US, which as I said before is untrue. He was not credited in any way because Timberlake's camp feared over exposure with his solo career starting right around then. Rouse52794 (talk) 20:22, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Just went back through and looked. I see what you did now. It was an IP user that put in the confusing wording, and it was a different edit (not yours) that I seen and thought was yours. The edit you reverted to was the one I put in with the wording above. Once again, my mistake and I apologize again. Sorry for the confusion :) Rouse52794 (talk) 20:26, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yup, your version was very clear, and that was the version that I reverted back to because the anonymous IP version was too wordy and confusing. Thanks :-) –BMRR (talk) 22:01, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The lyrics[edit]

May I just ask who does what bit? I know Taboo does verse 2 and possibly the chorus, Will.I.Am first verse, and apl.de.ap at the end and JT and Fergie in the chorus, can I get an elaboration? Tez011 (talk) 15:20, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re-entered the UK Singles Chart[edit]

New page needed for new release #WHERESTHELOVE[edit]

WHERESTHELOVE 2016 is almost totally a new song and surely deserves a separate page, not a section under the page "Where Is the Love?" All the similarity is a sampling of some music and lyrics from the original song, but the 2016 release has clearly unique new music and new lyrics to make it a stand-alone song on its own. werldwayd (talk) 18:17, 5 September 2016 (UTC) werldwayd (talk) 22:22, 5 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose Even if WHERESTHELOVE 2016 is entirely a new song or music, it's still related to the original 2003 song. No need for a separate article as it is not qualified per WP:NSONGS. SkyHigher (talk) 08:14, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose - This article is about the song, not either recording of it.
The "only" similarity is the music, the lyrics and the band? This is a new version of the same song. "You Keep Me Hangin' On" has three completely unrelated artists recording soul, psychedelic rock and synth-heavy dance versions; one article.

Confusion over song lyrics[edit]

In the lyrics, the final verse before the outro says "Negative images is the main criteria", but... shouldn't it be "Negative images are the main criteria" provided "criteria" is the plural of "criterion" and the noun "images" is also plural? --Fandelasketchup (talk) 18:55, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
