List of recordings[edit]

What should we do with the list of recordings? It currently contains many red links. I often regret it when people remove red links, but in this case, I don't see any benefit in those cases where we have no information at all - not even a date. I feel the date is important and feel all entries should have one. I tried to find the date for some of them, but so far I only found Shirley Temple (at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAchBLEFXPU), which I now included in the article Little Miss Broadway. — Sebastian 21:49, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yesterday, after I wrote the above, I found out a few more dates, sorted the list by date and moved all entries without a date in a separate section. Those were the following:
Today, I removed that section. If anyone can find the date for any of these, please reinsert them in the correct place. — Sebastian 05:15, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

1929 Jolson recording[edit]

After poring over Jolson discographies, I can find no evidence of a 1929 recording by Jolson and accordingly I've removed the claims pertaining to one. I don't doubt he sang it on stage, probably long before 1929. If any editor thinks the claim should be restored to the article, a reliable source is in order.
