Kelsey?[edit]

Why is Kelsey listed in the cast list? Is there any offical source that states that she will be in the episode? 199.8.13.128 03:09, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There appears to be very little about this episode at all. Unless Kelsey is seen in the trailer at all? (Trainmad 19:31, 29 October 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Jane Asher[edit]

I THOUGHT it was Jane Asher! - It looked just like an older version of her! But the CBBC was so disrespectful in whizzing up the SJA credits on a tiny monitor behind the presenter's head that I couldn't see if it were her. DavidFarmbrough 12:14, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

They are really fast those credits aren't they? Did anyone catch the names of the rest of the cast? Young Sarah Jane and young Andrea, and the Graske and the Trickster? GracieLizzie 12:23, 30 October 2007 (UTC).[reply]

D.O.B.[edit]

I was hoping to put this before anyone else's comments, but c'est la vie. Do[es] th[ese/is] episode[s] give Sarah Jane's birth-year? We've got Brief Encounter: Playtime saying she was seven during An Unearthly Child, and the Doctor Who series Bible saying she was born around 1961 (as seen on the Whoniverse website. I hope we can now get a firmer idea from her own series. [User: Stripey].

Well she's said to be thirteen in 1964, depending on her month of birth and the month of the accident (July?) her birth year is either 1951 (if 1964 was the year she turned 13) or 1950 (if 1964 was the year she was due to turn 14) making her either 12 or 13 when The Unearthly Child happened, depending on her Birthday. The waters get muddy with UNIT dating and the one year jump ahead in "Aliens of London" then the year-and-a-half gap between "School Reunion" and "Invasion of the Bane" as well as the unknown passage of time between that and "Revenge of the Slitheen". It's all rather headache inducing.GracieLizzie 14:55, 31 October 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Well, after I watch the episode [today], I'll be deciding Sarah Jane was indeed born in the year "1950/1951". The UNIT dating is all worked out wonderfully on the aforementioned Whoniverse site. I have never understood why Aliens of London causes confusion just because it puts an episode airing in 2005 in 2006. Likewise, my previous posts on S.J.A. discussion pages show I fully believe School Reunion is "Early 2007" and Invasion of the Bane to be dated with the alarm clock and Revenge of the Slitheen dated by English tradition.User: Stripey.

"She died in 1964 at the age of 13" I make her birth year 1951--Wiggstar69 17:17, 5 November 2007 (UTC).[reply]

So do I, having bothered to re-read the notation I keep referencing of the Whoniverse. It says she was established as 23 in Invasion of the Dinosaurs, confirming the year 1951.

Dates that actually add up in the Whoniverse! A rare occasion, good work.--Wiggstar69 21:00, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Music[edit]

What 60's music is andrea listening to at the party?--Wiggstar69 18:30, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling[edit]

Is it Trixster or Trickster?--Wiggstar69 18:41, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trickster I think, Trixster was just a typo on my part. Some of the events (News reports v. Party & Limbo scenes may be slightly out of order too). --GracieLizzie 19:27, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Andrea Yates?![edit]

That was a strange choice of name for the character in this episode, considering it's shared by the woman who killed her five children several years ago. The case was such a huge media spectacle I'm sure it must have made the news in the UK as well, so it's somewhat shocking that they would use such a charged name like that. Was this just a coincidence or an intentional reference? Either way, it might deserve a mention in the article... Lurlock (talk) 17:53, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's arguably in bad taste if it is an intentional reference, so I don't think we should hint at the possibility without a source. EALacey (talk) 21:09, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This was discussed on Outpost Gallifrey/The Doctor Who Forums some while back. While what I'm about to say is unciteable it's worth mentioning in the terms of this discussion that none of the British members could recall the Andrea Yates case and she wasn't exactly a household name here. Likely what we have here is an example of a particularly unfortunate Cross Cultural Kerfluffle. --GracieLizzie (talk) 23:36, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ephemeral[edit]

should it be mentioned in the continuity section that in part 2 humans were called ephemerals, they were also called that in the doctor who story- "enlightenment" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.242.77.122 (talk) 02:19, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
