It is true that in the 19th century a number of broadside ballads were printed in England which mention ‘the lock hospital’. However, nothing in this section links these songs with the Westmorland lock hospital.

Agreed. There are various lock hospitals and none of the material currently presented is specific to the Westmoreland Lock Hospital. Dormskirk (talk) 18:03, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
