Why Second Degree?[edit]

It isn't clear to me why the charges were of murder in the second degree. The two girls, at least, killed after a week's captivity, seem to have been killed with premeditation. If there is any explanation for this in the press, it would be nice to have it included.Bill (talk) 23:01, 5 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Such lenience in law paves way to encourage would-be criminals to commit horrendous crime. The guilty in this case should have been given exemplary punishment. 116.71.26.215 (talk) 16:42, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
