Notability Citations Formally Requested[edit]

After reading Wikipedia:BIO#Creative_professionals I don't believe this article meets the notability requirement. Perhaps someone can provide secondary sources that do not cite the author's own work -- as it appears is currently the case. BossAnders (talk) 07:49, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The notability question has been removed by the Fishman2010 ID, due to what appears to be their perception of "weight" of source rather than meeting notability criteria.

From what I can see, this article has been created by 4 or 5 special interest users since 2008 (Boulder Creek, GeorgetownByCanoe, LawProf101, Anon IP 108.105.4.160) that have contributed to this article solely. What is the status of the notability question on this article? It still does not appear to meet the criteria and, as has been mentioned, appears to be a vanity article. It also contains claims that appear to be personal attacks and that lack citation, such as referring to PZ Meyers as being "best known for desecrating the Catholic Eucharist." Notability Question Answered[edit]

Laugesen has inordinate influence on public policy in Colorado and nationally, though perhaps unwarranted. He commands attention of state and national politicians who meet with him regularly. He runs the opinion side of the most powerful and best-funded media company in Colorado. He is a regular on radio and TV, even though the article does not tell that story.
