Date of birth[edit]

There have been multiple dates of birth appearing in the article, none of them sourced.

Per WP:DOB, we should really only be including dates of birth if they've been previously published in very visible sources.

I am again removing the date of birth, Please do not restore until you have proper reliable sourcing to do so. --Nat Gertler (talk) 14:11, 18 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Pokémon[edit]

Didn’t he also voice the bug catcher in season one episode four - the challenge of the samurai in the original Pokémon anime series? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.35.118.124 (talkcontribs) 08:52, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Have no idea sorry, as I've never seen any Pokemon TV anime shows. Govvy (talk) 07:55, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Young Sheldon[edit]

Yes, that information is already in the article three times. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 01:19, 26 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Artists4Ceasefire[edit]

The inclusion of the Artists4Ceasefire petition, at least based on the source we are using, seems blatantly WP:UNDUE. Shawn is not mentioned separately in the article, he's just in a long list of all the names who signed the petition (an editor appears to be trying to put this trivia into the article of every person who signed.) We already have sufficient material showing his political leanings and involvement; this is not a signficant one. We do not need this article to be a list of every document he has ever signed. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 12:58, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not the original proponent, but this appears due to me. The addition to the article is proportionately brief. It's significance is not major, but also I don't think it can be considered "trivia." Although I have to concede I've never heard of this organization (not necessarily surprising) Shawn's involvement in the addition is through an apparently encyclopedically significant organization.
There is also some hyperbole here, as neither this addition nor the article generally purport to be "a list of every document he has ever signed."
@Discourseofcourse Following Nat Gertler's comment, I see that you are adding this to a number of other articles. Please do not tag these additions as "minor edits". Wikipedia has a specific definition for "minor edit" (it is not really a common sense definition either) -- only edits which do NOT change the substance of articles should be tagged as minor. The problem went beyond the use of the minor checkbox. All of these additions were against the WP:ECR regarding the Israel/Gaza matters, as the poster was a new account. They have now been blocked due to these postings, and all of them undone... except for this one, which you restored. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 15:40, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh important point. That’s within the scope of Israel-Palestine requirements for sure and the editor should not have done so. I’ve got the requisite edits and will adopt the addition on this page as my own. JArthur1984 (talk) 16:02, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
