General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: Yes
  • Interesting: No - Really baseline hook; could we maybe try to find a more specific detail for this rather than just the topic itself?
QPQ: Done.

  • @Generalissima: Happy to take any inputs on tweaking the hook. But, not many clandestine radio stations in that part of the world at that time. I can’t think of any other in Portuguese India. Ktin (talk) 04:51, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
How about something along the lines of --
and if you want to go sneaky
  • ALT1.3 ... that the Voice of Freedom had to counter poisonous snakes, leeches, and other wildlife?

Let me know. We can trim the hook if we need to. Ktin (talk) 05:06, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Generalissima:. Pardon the ping. Appreciate your eyes on the revised hooks. Thanks. Ktin (talk) 06:23, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh no worries, I got distracted. I think Alt1.3 is the best; it's short and punchy and invites the reader to click to learn more, which is really all you want with a hook! Generalissima (talk) 06:50, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
