Oh, what the heck[edit]

I stumbled on a reference to Vino in Ubuntu, which I at that time didn't realize was its VPN component, which soon led me to check Wikipedia for Vino, whose disambiguation page included a link to this then-non-existent page. So I looked into it and decided it was probably worth a quick writeup.

Along the way, I also stumbled on the Vino OS project at CodePlex. Didn't take long to conclude (IMHO) that its prospects are not good, and the need for it is dubious at best (ust as it was for the JavaOS). But I decided to include a one-sentence reference to it anyway, mostly to avoid potential confusion. Joeldbenson (talk) 16:14, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright issues?[edit]

I removed some unattributed sentences that probably were too close to those on the Vino group page, and added quotation marks around the attributed paragraph, which I am fairly sure constitutes fair use. Joeldbenson (talk) 16:29, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
