Does Via Rail own tracks?

I don't find anything about that in the article. A system length is given, but is all that on tracks owned by other companies or does Via have its own infrastructure? --Tobias b köhler (talk) 16:12, 25 September 2015 (UTC)

VIA owns 200 km of track [1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.254.21.158 (talk) 17:29, 26 May 2016 (UTC)

Too many sections/headers

Seriously, there are headers for single sentence sections. Couple that with headers that repetitive except for the consecutive years, and it obvious that there's ways to combine these into a more coherent narrative. Plus the incorrect use of hyphens in those headers. That's why put a cleanup tag on the article. oknazevad (talk) 18:58, 5 January 2018 (UTC)

Makes sense; I moved the tag to the section. It looks to me like the various minor service adjustments could just be removed or maybe split off into a timeline article, they don't really add to the narrative. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 20:21, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
Agreed. This article has looked like a complete disaster for years. Perhaps a History of Via Rail section is necessary, to remove all the historic trivia. We've been discussing this problems for years (example in Talk:Via Rail/Archives/2013#Long-winded History section). Someone needs to be bold! Nfitz (talk) 19:58, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
