Has this team ceased operations yet?[edit]

There have been rumors about this team being done all over Instagram and Facebook. Is this true or not? Fairlydaisy04 (talk) 04:52, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Certainly the forfeit yesterday doesn't help calm things down, but until the team and/or the league makes an announcement, it's still in business. We'll wait for such an announcement, and the various anon IPs chiming in should get the message that Wikipedia doesn't hand out barnstars for being the first to "scoop" all comers. Well the forfeit didn't calm things down and I have been certainly on the lookout in case they cease operations and looking out in case someone puts information that hasn't been confirmed. Fairlydaisy04 (talk) 21:54, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

So've I; I've been glancing at the SPHL's and the Commercial-News websites just on the offchance. Ravenswing 22:03, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have been glancing at those two websites and The SPHL's Twitter Fairlydaisy04 (talk) 23:55, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, with the latest Commercial-News article on the subject having local insiders state that the team's "done," basically the league and Tully had better start talking to the press before the close of business Thursday or else. Ravenswing 07:23, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Well they officially ceased operations, as of 8:30am CST Fairlydaisy04 (talk) 15:34, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Owner's name[edit]

Regarding the owner's last name, keep in mind that Wikipedia relies on third party reliable sources. Every source I've seen, including news reports this week, give the owner's name as Tully. -- Pemilligan (talk) 21:46, 10 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
