Notability[edit]

I'm not sure who tagged this for notability, since they made no entry in the talk page. Isn't it standard procedure to note who is placing such a tag on an article? Joeteller (talk) 23:43, 7 February 2008 (UTC)joeteller[reply]

It was User:Jorfer, who seems to be doing a systematic survey of articles beginning with Ve-Vi right now. This is a typical SF convention, which means that it gets little coverage in the mundane press, and that usually of poor quality. Nonetheless, it is notable, if only as (supposedly) the largest college-based SF convention. --Orange Mike | Talk 02:43, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I think Jorfer's going through Wikipedia:Orphaned Articles/V right now. --Orange Mike | Talk 02:51, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Correction[edit]

I noticed that somebody had put Sharyn November of the list of Vericon guests for 2001. As far as I know, 2007 was her first Vericon, and I think that the person was just confused because Donna Jo Napoli was a Vericon guest in both 2001 and 2008. 140.247.148.88 (talk) 01:47, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
