This is an interesting and appropriate topic for Wikipedia. Vera's father James Douie has an article, so should be linked.

The main issues with the draft are with developing the references. The standard style is to place them in the text, rather than endnotes. The paraphrase of the JISC reference is probably too close: the use made of it might well lead to the article being deleted as a copyright violation. Rewriting needed.

Working on draft[edit]

@Thebrightplaces02: Your sandbox article draft has been moved here, for further development. In a few days time, I may start working on it. You can of course work on it yourself. You are now a confirmed user, meaning that you now have the Move button on the Tools menu. In due course I'll move this draft into the main article space, when I think it is of the right standard.
