Terminology[edit]

Is valve oil is musical instrument only?[edit]

All valves are lubricated. Is "valve oil" only for brass instruments? Or are musical instruments only one domain in which "valve oil" is used.

Perhaps this entry should be entirely recast, perhaps even made a more section of Valve?

But there is material specific to musical instrument valves, so maybe it stays one of several disambiguated valve oil pages? . . . JacquesDelaguerre (talk) 20:51, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
