Pointing Out[edit]

I would like to mention that Völkerball actually is the german word for Dodgeball (i think that's what it is called) and would rename the article to "Völkerball_(Rammstein)" or "Völkerball_(Album)" while Völkerball should forward to Dodgeball

This is English language wikipedia, so there is no need for it to do that King nothing 22:30, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

bit confused..will it be available just on CD?

Both DVD and CD, I think. --Dark Jin (likes you‽) 11:22, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Question 2: Rammstein and the female singing duo T.a.t.u. are often linked together, especially with the song 'Moskau'. Did T.a.t.u. have any connection with Rammstein at all?98.133.7.122 (talk) 22:25, 31 March 2010 (UTC)98.133.7.122 (talk) 22:29, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Track List[edit]

any ideas on the track lsiting?

If it's just the French show, it will be:

01. Reise Reise

02. Links 234

03. Keine Lust

04. Feuer Frei

05. Asche zu Asche

06. Morgenstern

07. Mein Teil

08. Stein um Stein

09. Los

10. Du Riechst so Gut

11. Benzin

12. Du Hast

13. Sehnsucht

14. Amerika

15. Rammstein

16. Sonne

17. Ich Will

18. Ohne Dich

19. Stripped

The final version has concert dvd's and also an audio cd of the nimes concert and your track listing is correct except ich will is the last song...ohne dich and stripped arent included Rammstein1 21:05, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Release date[edit]

I have kind of a problem with the following sentence: "It will be released on November 20, 2006[1] worldwide." In the source pointed to at [1] it (now) clearly reads November 17. Also on the release dates list on the bottom of the article there are a lot of different dates, some before the 20th and some after. Why has "November 20, 2006 worldwide" been chosen? I would either use the first release date (November 17, I think) or the last (because then it is actually released "world wide"). Or perhaps take November 17 and remove "worldwide". :-) --t0maz 07:30, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just a note[edit]

The 3 disc version is available in Canada from Music World. R.E. Freak 04:35, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

audio CD[edit]

near the end of tracklist, can we just say that audio CD1 is on both special and limited, and audio CD2 is on just limited? or what? putting audio CD1 in two numbered places is slightly misleading. if i only read read, "limited edition only" i'm inclined to think that there's no audio CDs on the 'special' one, at all. also, may i say that the (***labels that look like this***) are awkward. you tell me

Voelkerball[edit]

Hi,

This is a question probably only a German speaker can answer. I have quit often seen this title written as 'Voelkerball', also are other words with ö sometimes written with 'oe'. Can someone explain why this is done?

Thank you, --LAUBO 18:19, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not German, but I think it's due to the pronunciation : when someone can't type "ö" with his/her keyboard, he/she just has to type "oe", it's exactly the same pronunciation in German. --Dark Jin (likes you‽) 20:15, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dark Jin is mostly right. If you can't type ä/ö/ü with your keyboard, you can type ae/oe/ue instead. Völkerball is originally written Völkerball with ö.

There are still words in german - though mostly foreign words from latin or greek - where you actually do write oe or ae and where you pronounce the vokals seperatly. It would be wrong to write ö or ä there. For example the word Ancilla where the plural is Anciallae and NEVER Ancillä.

Name section[edit]

The whole name section isnt really needed, it doesnt add much information, it just waffles about an interpretation, a simle translation of volkerball is provided in the 1st sentence, why elaborate on non existent meanings? I do not think rammstein intended it to be interpreted differently it simply stands for People's ball. 88.109.200.67 17:57, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
