Definition of baud[edit]

Please note, baud is defined as symbols per second (a change in the state of the channel). Baud is not the same as bits per second, if more than one bit is encoded per baud.— Preceding unsigned comment added by ‎ 4.224.132.3 (talkcontribs) 23:12, August 15, 2007 (UTC)

Origins and ownership[edit]

The article says "Universal Powerline Bus" is proprietary, but it fails to mention who originated it, when it was originated or introduced to the market, and who, if anyone, owns the rights to the name, i.e., is the name trademarked. — Quicksilver (Hydrargyrum)T @ 23:15, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
