DHS vs DHHS[edit]

Most people I've met call DHHS "DHS". Should a "not to be confused with Department of Health and Human Services" section be added? GamerKlim9716 (talk) 01:20, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've always seen "DHS" as homeland security and HHS as health an human services. I've not seen one acronym used for both. Do you have any sources? meamemg (talk) 14:48, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't see this anywhere online so that's why I was asking if it's just people around me. Just people I know say "DHS" when they met "DHHS" often. GamerKlim9716 (talk) 20:47, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Employee Count[edit]

@Cuprum17: You reverted an edit on employee count. The cited source says: "This requires the hard work of more than 260,000 employees in jobs that range from aviation and border security to emergency response, from cybersecurity analyst to chemical facility inspector." That seems to support the edit, and at minimum I'm not seeing anything in there to support the 240,000 value. meamemg (talk) 15:07, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The editor of the edit I reverted did not change the date of the citation. Still listed as June 29, 2016. The second paragraph citation is still listed as May 31, 2011. Perhaps these dates should be updated to reflect the updated information on the site. You decide. Cuprum17 (talk) 18:21, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
