Unit time or time unit?

I noticed the expression "time unit" is used on this page, and even redirects to it, and I would have thought it the correct usage, but on Wikipedia "unit time" seems more common... So which one should we use? Adʁijɛ̃ (talk) 10:32, 23 April 2015 (UTC)

I think the page is OK with "time unit". "unit time" is used on other pages as "per unit time". So you can say "water flow per unit time". This is also correct usage (at least to us engineers).--Nowa (talk) 10:50, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
That makes sense. Thanks! Adʁijɛ̃ (talk) 09:22, 24 April 2015 (UTC)

Relativity

Should there be a note about moving reference frames? Ususally base units are immutable, but Einstein implies otherwise. Can someone find a reliable reference that describe how this is dealt with? Hadron137 (talk) 18:10, 4 March 2016 (UTC)

Need more

Threescore need to define score as used in bible. it is being or containing three times twenty; sixty this implies score is twenty years. Thanks Eon (Aeon) and Epic, which are time units used made to measure time from the creation of earth, should be included

Score itself is a quantitative term denoting a grouping of 20, not a period of time. Indeed, Merriam-Webster[1] and the OED [2] define score as a grouping of 20. OED does in fact reference to usage of threescore with an ellipsis of years as the word is superfluous in the context of discussing age. Are we also to add a dozen, gross, pony, ton, and monkey as they can be given with an ellipsis of years in the context of discussing age? I think not. 88.97.25.170 (talk) 15:31, 21 June 2021 (UTC)

^ A score in the context of meaning 20 years is a well known and common phrase. The only superfluous thing is your reply about such an incorrect viewpoint.

I trust that you are able to provide a source for your claim. Please provide this source in the notes section of score.16:04, 21 June 2021 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.97.25.170 (talk)
