Copyright issues[edit]

The CorenSearchBot identified some material from the page http://www.utu.fi/en/units/hum/sites/tucemems/Pages/home.aspx , but these materials were mostly names (like Framing Premodern Desires) or other very short pieces of text ( like: 'the centre has', or 'is available under')

The longer material has been removed (names of different fields of studies represented in TUCEMEMS) as the information isn't very critical to the page.

I've made a rewrite of the article. The copyright problems were in the first paragraph and in the section Activity. These sections have been rewritten, and some minor changes have been made to the Administration and History sections, where there was no copyright problems. I'm sorry for the unintentional plagiarism I may have done. YvainfromFinland (talk) 12:09, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your rewrite. I believe the current version conforms on that front to our policies. However, I'm afraid that there are some remaining issues with the article around sourcing. Wikipedia is a tertiary source. Our goal is to summarize neutrally what reliable sources say about notable entities. While primary sources, such as an institution's own publications can be used to supplement material, the bulk of information in our articles is meant to be drawn from secondary and tertiary sources that are not connected to the institution directly. Our verifiability policy will explain our intentions here. "Identifying reliable sources" can help in determining what sources are preferred. If you have any questions about this or about editing in general, I would recommend visiting Wikipedia:Teahouse, which is meant to be a friendly environment where newcomers can receive assistance. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 10:36, 17 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
