Personal Life - relationship status

According to media including http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2041877/X-Factor-judge-Tulisa-Fazer-public-relationship-Dappys-single-launch.html, Tulisa has been in a relationship with bandmate Fazer since approx. May 2010. Can this information be added? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.211.99.2 (talk) 16:52, 24 October 2011 (UTC)

Bailey misspelled in (2nd sentence): "Contostavlos was in an on/off relationship with DJ Adam Bailey, to whom she was reportedly engaged in early 2009. Baily was accused of Grievous bodily harm on her and[53] she gave evidence in his trial. In December 2009, Bailey was cleared of involvement in the attack.[54][55]" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Suttungur (talkcontribs) 09:46, 13 November 2011 (UTC)

Mungo Jerry

Although her uncle is mentioned in the Mungo Jerry article, her father is not - neither as Steve or as Plato per one of the linked article. Was he really a member ? -- Beardo (talk) 23:14, 25 November 2011 (UTC)

Spelling etc

Spellings mistakes (e.g. 'camara') need to be changed. Also, the use of "Note:" is unacceptable. 109.149.165.84 (talk) 22:10, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

Edit request on 2 May 2012

In 2011, Tulisa confirmed that she had started work on a solo album that would be released on September 17, 2012. Tulisa has also recently confirmed by twitter that the first single to be released from the album is entitled 'Young', the promo video for 'Young' was filmed on 2 March in Miami. The song was produced by STL, the production company of Richard 'Fazer' Rawson and Peter "Neros" Ibsen and written by Peter Ibsen, Ali Tennant and Fazer. On 29 April 2012 Tulisa released her single "Young" as part of a remixes EP, which charted at number one on the UK Singles Chart.[1]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. None of that is supported by the ref, which says that CALL ME MAYBE by CARLY RAE JEPSEN is at number one there.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 12:46, 10 May 2012 (UTC)

album title young

Could you please get some proof that the album title it Young it would have been big news remove this if you have no proof it just because the single is called young does not mean to say the album will be --Mr JKX (talk) 22:51, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

Edit Request -- 12 Aug 2012

Could the line "Contostavlos was granted an injunction (Contostavlos v Mendahun) that legally blocks the distribution of the tape worldwide" be changed so that worldwide is removed, and replaced with "in the United Kingdom", or otherwise nothing. The sources linked only mention a UK High Court case (and a threat of a court case in the US, with the "cease and desist notice"). In any case, there's no evidence to suggest that a worldwide ban is in effect (for example, see John Terry superinjuction affair where discussion of the matter outside the UK was not banned). 129.67.156.180 (talk) 11:19, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

Partly done: I have removed the word "worldwide". Rivertorch (talk) 11:42, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

Last name/page move

I think this should be moved back and she should be refered to by her last name as it is more encyclopaedic. Or at least dicuss it and don't just base it on one TV series but her entire career. –anemoneprojectors– 11:38, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

Agreed. User Stalker4evag4 has twice moved the page without discussion on the talk page, and the reason that she is "credited by that on X-Factor" isn't sufficient to move the page anyway, besides it also is incorrect, see link [2] I have reverted back to correct page name. Zarcadia (talk) 19:36, 23 August 2011 (UTC)

Last name/page move (rebooted)

Should this article be named simply 'Tulisa', in her solo career, she goes by her first name only, like Adele and Rhianna. Also, Tulisa is an unusual name, so it won't have brackets like (singer) after it like the [[Adele (singer)|Adele) article does. Reli source (talk) 21:38, 5 September 2012 (UTC)

Some changes to do

what about "scream & shout" ? http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/4699984/tulisa-hacked-off-with-will-and-britney-spears-scream-and-shout.html , she also co-wrote the song, one of the lyrics that Tulisa allegedly wrote was: 'When you hear this in the club, you’d better turn this s**t up.' http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2276982/Tulisa-suing-Scream-amp-Shout-song.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490

From Scream & Shout: "Scream & Shout" was originally written by British singer Tulisa Contostavlos for her debut album The Female Boss (2012) under the title "I Don't Give A Fuck" with will.i.am's protege, Jean Baptiste.[3] However, the producer of the track, Lazy Jay, didn't want Contostavlos to have the song and gave it to will.i.am who re-wrote the song with Spears in mind.[4]

2) The date of album's release should be change, in the beginning it is 26th November, it should be 3rd December, because this is when the album was released

3) I think we should also add about the album campaign had finished and that no further singles would be released in order to allow her to pursue an acting career, we can take it from The Female Boss articl

4) We can also add about her performance on the X Factor with the single "Sight of you":).

If someone can do it THANK YOU. I can't 'cause the article is blocked even though I'm log in :) Kubast12 (talk) 23:10, 12 February 2013 (UTC)

and she will also perform as a support-act on Ne-Yo's UK Tour https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=389766261104829&set=a.174503665964424.43652.152859371462187&type=1 81.152.157.130 (talk) 00:08, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

she also confirmed N-Dubz reunion: In an interview with This Morning on 24 September 2012, Tulisa said a reunion is definitely in the works for 2013, after hers and Dappy's solo albums have been released.[40] On 6 October 2012, during an edition of The X Factor, Tulisa once again confirmed that N-Dubz would be reforming. http://www.4music.com/news/news/6216/Tulisa-confirms-N-Dubz-reunion . and maybe add something about her being as a judge in the ninth series of The X Factor, Ella Henderson etc... and in the beginning not just about the first series which she won but also that she was judge in the second series with category "Girls" 81.152.157.130 (talk) 21:29, 14 February 2013 (UTC)

In the drugs section it says she admitted to smoking weed before bed and selling drugs when she was young. This is completely incorrect anyone that was following the story will know they were tape recordings played in court which her lawyer stated she was acting out a part. The case collapsed because the defendant mahmood was lying. This should be written in this section. Or at least 'alleged' not 'admitted' she did not admit anything.

Personally, I think it should be included - It's a notable non-mention that only serves to make Wikipedia look uninformed here. I appreciate the source is flaky, but it doesn't take much googling to find more credible sources like MTV reporting on the matter, whilst it is unconfirmed, maybe it should be mentioned in the 'alleged' sense? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.215.72.185 (talk) 16:56, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

Tulisa ContostavlosTulisa – This really bugs me; Contostavlos is of course Tulisa's last name but Tulisa's real first name is Tula; she was always known with N-Dubz as just Tulisa; same as Dappy who is her cousin and shares the same last name as T; when she released "Young" and stuff after she went solo she was just Tulisa, her autobiography was released as Tulisa; her perfume was released under as Tulisa, her debut album under Tulisa; "Living Without You" as Tulisa, when she was an X-Factor Judge, Tulisa, "Big Fat Gypsy Gangster" Tulisa, "Tulisa: My Mum & Me" Tulisa, "Demon's Never Die" Tulisa, "Dubplate Drama: Series 2-3" Tulisa, her iTunes page Tulisa, so why isn't her Wikipedia article under as just Tulisa? She isn't the first or won't be the last singer to go under as one name, take Madonna, Rihanna, Cher, Beyoncé, Alesha, Olivia, Ciara, Amerie, Fergie, Ashanti, Olivia (50 Cent's "Candy Shop" girl), Omarion, Mario, Pharrell, Usher, will.i.am (still his first name just stylised and pronounced differently), Dido, Sia (a UK garage artist and not the one who wrote "Diamonds"), Aaliyah, Mýa, Natasha, Che'Nelle, Jameila, Javine, Jeremih, Joe, Kelis as prime examples; and she hasn't done a Fergie and got her name legally changed to Tulisa Contoostavlos so she should go under as just Tulisa. Tulisa ContostavlosTulisa – I'm sorry but I have to bring this back. No one ever refers to her as "Contostavlos". She was and is still always known as just "Tulisa". This issue occurred on articles for Beyoncé and Sia (musician). 73.195.245.169 (talk) 21:03, 17 January 2015 (UTC)

In addition, my other reasons are as per the other request above. 73.195.245.169 (talk) 21:04, 17 January 2015 (UTC)
  • Oppose WP:RECENT and transient. If moved then Tulisa (singer). In ictu oculi (talk) 00:47, 18 January 2015 (UTC)
    • I would accept that. 73.195.245.169 (talk) 03:18, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
      • Comment: Assuming this RM is rejected, that could be a technical move, or we could even apply WP:SNOW and just do it, noting the support (but not unanimous support) for this below, strong consensus not to move as originally proposed, and the fact that this seems to address well the issues raised by nom above. Andrewa (talk) 18:23, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
Update - agree with moving the new (dab) to baseline In ictu oculi (talk) 08:34, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
  • Support move to Tulisa (singer) per my previous comment - No one calls her "Tulisa Contostavlos" nor is she known for that name. –Davey2010Talk 03:41, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
  • Comment "Tulisa" should eb a disambiguation page -- 65.94.40.137 (talk) 05:39, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
  • Oppose - plenty of sources call her by her full name.[5][6][7].  — Amakuru (talk) 11:37, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
    • Comment: This seems to imply opposition to the proposed move to Tulisa (singer), so we have at best rough consensus for that move, so far. I'm not relisting but perhaps there is a case for doing that. Andrewa (talk) 18:22, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
  • Oppose original proposal and instead move the DAB to Tulisa as suggested above. Support move to Tulisa {singer) per alternative proposal above. Andrewa (talk) 18:32, 25 January 2015 (UTC)

Discussion

As mentioned above, I have created Tulisa (disambiguation). In that the DAB page didn't exist when this RM was raised, and if consensus is assessed as against this RM, it seems to me we could invoke WP:SNOW and just move the DAB to Tulisa instead. Andrewa (talk) 18:03, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
