Trisha on "You Can Be A Star"[edit]

Seems like this was a significant event in her career. Shouldn't this be mentioned in the article? https://www.rollingstone.com/music/videos/flashback-see-trisha-yearwood-compete-on-you-can-be-a-star-20160317BillVol (talk) 13:54, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)

This is very well written overall. Good to see someone other than myself handling the country music articles for once.

  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose, spelling, and grammar): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
I gave it a couple quick copy edits to fix comma usage, improve sentence flow, and remove overlinking. Also, any number under ten should be written out.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (reference section): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR): d (copyvio and plagiarism):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
I added a little more information on singles from the album. If you'd like, maybe you can add a couple more reviews into the body somehow (from sources such as AllMusic, Entertainment Weekly, Country Standard Time, etc.) the way I did with Tracy Lawrence). This isn't absolutely mandatory but I think it might lend a little more breadth.
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free content have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
Overall, a good job here. Again, I'm pleased to see someone other than myself handling the country music articles.
