Trevor started his early career at St. Marks Rangers, a local side based in Balgaddy park. Early influence in his football came from local man Seanie Coleman, whom coached and played for the likes of Cherry Orchard and Usher Celtic. Seanie Coleman was a small striker with a big afro and quite an elegant player himself. Trevor often signal handledly walked through the opponents defence with the ease of a player well beyond his years. Playing for St. Marks Rangers, from a tender age of 6 or 7 Trevor's development of his skill and agility where honed in the parks and fields of Balgaddy, Nielstown and Greenfort. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.101.214.218 (talk) 19:45, 16 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
