Issue with the wording "The album also marks the first time Westenra has composed her own music"[edit]

Well I looked at the cd credits and they do not credit her with composing Whispering Hope but Alice Hawthorne. I am not exactly sure that the article is correct in crediting her with composing the music since she is not listed as the only person involved in the writing of any of the songs on the CD. Anyone else have an opinion on this? Andrew D White 02:37, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The liner notes do say "I've included on my album some new songs that I have written with people I've met on my travels around the world." However, the two songs specifically mentioned in the header were composed by Cheryl Wheeler and Alice Hawthorne respectively. "Summer Rain", "Let Me Lie", and "Melancholy Interlude" she at least co-wrote. The way the credits are listed, e.g. "Hayley Westenra & Sarah Class; Hayley Westenra, arr. Nick Ingman & Nick Patrick", implies to me that she at least co-wrote the lyrics and the music. Alfvaen (talk) 21:52, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Although, the question is "Is implies a good enough source for Wikipedia?". Somehow I think the answer is no but I don't know that I am the best person to ask that to. Andrew D White (talk) 05:44, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Alice Hawthorne is a pseudonym of Septimus Winner who wrote "Whispering Hope". I've modified the contentious wording, pending a more thorough rewrite. Hayley's album notes online specifically mention a co-writing role on 3 songs. (Radagast3 (talk) 09:50, 20 December 2007 (UTC))[reply]
I think the rewording is better then the original text was and does a better job of reflecting her part in the album's composition. Thanks. Andrew D White (talk) 16:17, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
