Miniskirt Army[edit]

Heya, does anyone know why the Miniskirt Army website doesn't work anymore?

Thanks,

OAV? OVA?[edit]

The article requires expert knowledge, please fix it. - 91.10.38.189 (talk) 20:08, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Are you asking what OVA means? AngusWOOF (barksniff) 20:33, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No, I'm not. I'm pointing out that the article requires expert knowledge to understand. (Also I don't know and can't be arsed to look up what OAV means.) - 91.10.38.189 (talk) 20:47, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I've changed it over to {{abbrlink|OVA|Original video animation}}, so hovering over it will show "Original video animation", and clicking on it should get you to the article that discusses Original video animation. I also did RPG, but I noticed you weren't concerned about that jargon term? And it doesn't mean the entire article requires expert knowledge. You could just pick out that particular entry next time. Thanks, very good solution.
The problem was that OAV was misspelled, an error that would be harder to miss with links or {{abbrlink}}. I started to wonder for a second was OAV was, then realized that the article shouldn't leave me wonder, hence came here. I know what OVA and RPG mean (and haven't even noticed RPG), but that's obviously beside the point, the article shouldn't leave such terms unexplained.
I suspect that the underlying problem is that most articles are written by domain experts, who tend to miss these things. - 91.10.37.5 (talk) 02:34, 30 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Actually both OAV and OVA have been used to refer to those direct-to-videos from Japan, but I've cleaned up the entries so they won't confuse. OAV is a bit older in usage, mostly for videos in the 1980s and 1990s. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 02:44, 30 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Interview remarks[edit]

I removed the Personal life phrase about him having ADHD. If he says in his interview that he was a little ADD or hyperactive as a kid doesn't mean he's announcing that he has that condition. You'll need to provide other interviews or news articles where he talks about that condition. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 03:17, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
