Mythical[edit]

Neck movement[edit]

We have mentioned how the trapezius affect scapular movement when the neck is stabilized. Yet I think I recall that if the scapulae are stable that the traps can affect the movement of the cervical spine, particularly the upper fibers. Does anyone have incite on how we could expand the article related to this? Can the upper traps affect things like flexion, side flexion, rotation or extension? In particular I was under the impression that both sides of the trap firing together caused the neck to extend if the scapulae are stable. DB (talk) 21:50, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nerve Supply[edit]
