Sports 800 Gas Turbine Hybrid[edit]

I've been researching the Toyota Sports 800 Gas Turbine Hybrid but have got stuck on the date. At the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show it was shown in the nostalgia section with a placard that says it was originally shown at the 1977 show. But according to 'Japanese Showcars 2 Tokyo Motor Show 1970~1979' it was shown at the 1979 show. I haven't found any other errors in this book but mistakes can happen. The Tokyo Motor Show website doesn't mention the Sports 800 GT hybrid for 1977[1][2] or 1979[3][4]. The Toyota brochure from the 1977 show[5] says nothing about the vehicle but does have brief mention of the GT24 engine. The Toyota brochure from the 1979 show[6] has no mention of the vehicle either but the back page has a diagram of all the 1979 show cars and the GT hybrid isn't among them.
